We, the undersigned, all being electors of the Town of East Fremantle or neighbouring electorates, respectfully request that the Council:

• Consider the current long term lease arrangements in the East Fremantle Oval Precinct in any future management model for the redeveloped East Fremantle Oval Precinct

• Specifically the Council process should provide an opportunity for Young 4 Life Fitness to be able to match any offer to fit out and operate a Gym/Fitness service at the redeveloped East Fremantle Oval Precinct

Reasons

• The Town of East Fremantle is reviewing the future management model to manage the redeveloped East Fremantle Oval Precinct.

• One option is for the whole site to be managed by one facility manager.

• This option may not provide an opportunity for current providers at the site such as Young 4 Life to be part of the new facility.

• Young 4 Life has operated at East Fremantle Oval under a lease with the East Fremantle Football Club for 13 years.

• It has a membership of in excess of 500 people of which over 300 are East Fremantle residents.

• Young 4 Life is prepared to fund any capital fit out and enter an appropriate commercial lease which reflects the investment in the fit out.

• Young 4 Life has invested in the current old facility and should have an opportunity to be part of the redeveloped East Fremantle Oval Precinct.
